Since COVID 19 started hitting Madrid area, SaarGummi Ibérica has carried out some donation initiatives with purchased PPE or with own built face shields.
Among others, the Spanish plant provided goods to Public Institutions that needed it. So they donate 500 protective masks to the Guardia Civil, a military police in Spain coordinating lockdown. The masks were finally addressed to hospitals in the eastern zone region of Madrid.
Hundred of face shields built in the companies prototype shop with the 3D printer, have been given to the City Hall of Villabilla/Madrid and they also have been distributed to different hospitals eastern zone region of Madrid. A second delivery of face shields received the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón, one of the main hospitals in Madrid.
